Cain walked through grass. This grass was much thicker then the grass at route 1. But as he walked he made it to the indigo plateo. On the door to the badge guards there was a sign.

 Hmm thats a disapointment. I wanted to go here. Oh well. But then all of the sudden something behind him started to growl. What the. Slowly Cain turned around and saw a pokemon growling. It was a small Nidoran. "Well arent you small." But then the Nidoran started to growl louder. "Okay if its a fight you want its a fight you will get". Cain took out a pokeball and released Bulbasaur. "Okay Bulbasaur use tackle attack against the Nidoran. Then keep doing so till it goes down. Bulbasaur did so and eventualy Nidoran fell over. "Well that was easy. Somehow I expected more. Cain sighed and decided to catch the Nidoran. "Oh well whats the worst that can happen. It can probably evolve into something better." So Cain threw a pokeball at Nidoran. It wobbled 3 times and stopped. I caught a Nidoran. Whoopdedoo. So he decided to go north insted.

Cain walked through Viridian city and went north ignoring the gym to the right. After trying to go inside he found out that he needed 7 more badges. So Cain decided to go north towards Pewter City and get his first badge.
